• There is definite power loss of power even though it is not much during fair weather condition.

• Due to corona effective charging current increases due to increase in capacitance due to  this interference in communication lines take place.

DISADVANTAGE OF CORONA 

 It reduce magnitude of high voltage steep fronted waves due to lighting & switching.
